Our Team

Dr. Nanda-Kumar (Dr. Kumar) is a native of BC, having grown up in the lower mainland for a majority of his youth. He spent a large portion of his younger days in Langley, BC and now calls it home with his lovely wife and children. He completed his undergraduate studies at U.B.C. and then traveled to the U.S. to complete his Dental schooling at Temple University, Pennsylvania. Beautiful weather and opportunity then took him to Los Angeles, California, where he practiced for many years honing his skills in various areas of dentistry. He decided to start his own practise in Langley, and provide care in the methods that he believed in for his patients. Dr. Kumar believes Modern Dentistry is the key to providing patients quality dentistry- making the most effective use of their time, while minimizing discomfort. His honest and clear explanation of sometimes complex dental issues is the reason patients love their visit, and feel empowered about their oral health.

In his spare time, Dr. Kumar loves to share his experience with future dentists as an Assistant Clinical Instructor at UBC School of Dentistry. He also enjoys many hobbies, which include working on classic cars, leather working, boating, travelling, cooking, and among family is renowned for being able to fix anything!

Dr. Aman Arora completed her bachelor’s degree in Dental Surgery from India and then volunteered to provide high quality dental care to retired army personnel in India.

She continued her studies at the University of Alberta where she received her DDS Dental Degree. She enjoys the challenges of providing top quality care to her patients in a gentle caring manner and her patients feel comfortable with her mild approach. She places a strong emphasis on communicating with each patient to facilitate informed decisions.

Dr. Arora is happily married to a loving and caring husband and is mother of precious little boy. She enjoys spending time with family, friends and loves travelling.

Dr. Lisa Otway began her career as an intelligence analyst with the RCMP before transitioning to dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Western Australia, graduating First in Class (Dux Honors) and receiving multiple awards for clinical excellence.

Passionate about patient care, Dr. Otway has provided dental services to remote First Nations communities and mentored future dentists. Since returning to British Columbia in 2019, she has balanced motherhood with her dedication to pediatric dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and facial esthetics. Known for her warm and calming approach, she helps patients of all ages feel at ease and confident in their smiles.

Jennifer has been working with Dr. Kumar since the summer of 2014 and is looking forward to many more years with great co-workers and patients. WTC Dental offers her the chance to work with a team who are dedicated to patient care and she loves being a part of each patient’s progress toward healthy and beautiful smiles, self-esteem and confidence.
